Q: There is so much to choose from. What do you recommend for a beginner?

A: The base of any start is one of the P.E.S. Power Boxes. This comes with the wires you need to start for most of the electrodes. We also recommend ElectroLube and Swiss Navy Toy and Body Cleaner to start. The final stage is to choose your electrode(s).

The simpliest start for either sex are the Anal Plugs in whatever size you are comfortable with, if you are okay with anal play.

For women, we usually recommend the Electro-Flex™ Vaginal Plug.

For men, that is a little harder to nail down, but we recommend starting simple so a combination of two single pole electrodes or one double pole electrode. A good start might be the Tubular Base Ring and a Prostate Stimulator. Or perhaps a Basic Corona Stimulator with a Testicle Tubular.

Q: I really want to buy something for my girlfriend. How do I introduce her to Erotic Electro Stimulation?

A: Start by showing her the website. Or perhaps request flyers on the different female products and one of the PES Power Boxes to show her. Check out this blog entry for more help.

DO NOT simply pick out product for her and surprise her with it. Electro Stimulation is not for everyone. Obviously this is not an inexpensive toy. If she isn't receptive to the products, and you've already invested, the Electrodes aren't returnable.

Another suggestion we have is to purchase for yourself first and share your experiences with her. This way you can take away some of the intimidation of the unknown.

So we strongly recommend getting her interested before you purchase versus trying to get her interested after you purchase.

Q: How do you ship? Is it discreet?

A: We can ship via USPS for all domestic & international shipments BUT can ship UPS if asked via email and the difference is paid.

Our product is shipped in plain packaging using "PES, Inc." or 'PES Shipping' as the shipper in the return address.

We cannot ship to PO Boxes via UPS. Please try to be sure to give us a physical street address for UPS delivery to ensure timely delivery of your product. In the US, UPS ships Ground (5 to 7 business days), 3-Day Air (3 business days), 2nd Day Air (2 business days), or Next Day Air (Next Business Day) and you can choose which option you would prefer but keep in mind there is a charge for the different options.

Please note, when we mention business days, this means that Saturday and Sunday as well as some major Holidays, do not count as shipping days. So if a package is ordered to be sent via Next Day Air on a Friday, it won't arrive until Monday.

International Shipments can be shipped either UPS or via USPS (United States Post Office). Keep in mind that shipping via post can take longer.

Remember, we are not responsible for customs and duties on international orders.

Keep in mind, we try to fill orders within 24 business hours of placement but our official order fulfillment time is within 24 to 72 business hours (excluding holidays and weekends) for all forms of delivery depending upon product availability. While orders that request express shipping options have priority in packaging, the express shipping options only apply to how many business days the order takes to arrive once it has been shipped not to when it is actually shipped out. For example, a Next Day order placed on Friday may not ship until Monday but will arrive on the next business day from date of shipping, which would be Tuesday.

Please be sure to provide us with a valid email or telephone number in the event we need to contact you regarding your order.

Q: What if my order is a Next Day Air package and is shipped out on the day before a holiday, will it be delivered on the Next Day?

A: Please note that when counting days for delivery, only count business days. So if a package is shipped Next Day Air (NDA) and gets picked up the day before a holiday, it will not be delivered until the next business day. So if the holiday is a Thursday, the package will be delivered on the Friday if it was picked up on Wednesday. For Second Day Air (2nd DA), a package picked up on a Wednesday right before a Thursday holiday would be delivered on the Monday following.

Q: Is my signature required when a package is shipped to me?

A: We do ship the products with signature required for UPS shipments in order to prove delivery of the product in the event there are issues with shipment. If you want an order shipped without signature required, you must request this in the 'special instructions' box on the shopping cart. Otherwise, all packages will be shipped with 'signature required'.

Q: What is the difference between the Electro-Flex™ Anal Plugs & the Acrylic Anal Plugs?

A: While both products are anal plugs, there is a distinct difference in sensation.

The Acrylic Anal Plugs tend to be the preferred choice for women or men who prefer a distinct stimulation of the sphincter muscles, almost a "fucking" sensation. With the right settings on your PES Power Box, the Acrylic Anal Plugs may create an in and out sensation or actually visually move in and out. Being made of acrylic, it has a firm surface and is very appealing visually. The Acrylic Anal Plugs also come in four sizes, where the Electro-Flex™ Anal Plugs only come in two.

The Electro-Flex™ Anal Plugs are flexible silicone anal plugs with a memory bend wire to retain whatever position you wish to bend them. These anal plugs are especially effective for prostate stimulation making them highly favored by our male customers. The Electro-Flex™ Plugs only come in two sizes but they offer the option of being single-pole or double-pole electrodes.

Q: What payment methods do you offer?

A: We offer the option to send in a payment via money order or you can use PayPal.

Q: I live in the UK. Do I have to pay customs when I receive my shipment?

A: Most likely, yes. We have no control over customs or duties when shipping to any international location.

Q: Can I order any of your products for international shipping?

A: At this time the majority of our products have had no problems going into most countries. We do try to give as non-descript a summary of the contained products as possible. We expect you to know whether it is legal for you to order a product before we ship it to you, so please check your local laws before ordering. The only products we cannot ship outside the US at this time are the videos.

There have been problems of late shipping to Spain via almost any method of shipping. We recommend checking our Retailer List for European Retailers if you live in Spain. Shipping to many Asian countries, we recommend choosing the postal option if available.

Q: I live outside the US and I want to buy the PES Power Box but what is the power supply for the unit outside the US?

A: While the PES Power Box will work with a 9 volt battery, you may find it more effective with an adapter.

Obviously the adapter we provide for use in the US may not work where you are located. The current AC Adapter provided with the PES Power Box is a 12v 1.5A adapter that is rated for input of 100v to 240v 50/60Hz .4A. It is center pole positive & works overseas as well as in the US. It comes with blades for plugging into US outlets so Overseas customers will need to purchase the correct blade adapter for the outlets in their country.

If you do not have the current AC Adapter it can be purchased from us directly or the following are the guidelines for purchasing an appropriate replacement:

The P.E.S. Power Box is manufactured to operate on a standardized U.S. electrical current. In order for Overseas Customers to operate the P.E.S. Power Box properly an A/C Adapter must be purchased which steps down the voltage and current to a 12 volt DC 1500mAmp output. The adapter (plug) must be center pole positive on the inlet of the adapter jack of the P.E.S. Power Box. Please use the appropriate adapter for your country.

P.E.S., Inc. is not responsible for the misuse of the adapter and voltage guidelines set forth in this notice. In the event these guidelines are violated, all warranties on the P.E.S. Power Box will be null and void.
Any questions should be addressed to customer service.

Q: I have a latex allergy, but I want to order some of your Electro-Flex™ items. What can I do?

A: The Electro-Flex™ products are not made of rubber or latex. Our Electro-Flex™ products are made of medical grade silicone that has been impregnated with conductive materials, so if you have a latex allergy you should have no problems with our products.

Q: I see you sell a few different lubricants. What are the differences & which do you recommend for use with PES electrodes?

A: ElectroLube is a water-based lubricant with additional conductive properties. This is the lubricant we recommend for use with our electrodes.

Kinky Lube is a powered-lubricant that you mix with water to activate. This lubricant is very slippery.

Sterile Lubricating Jelly is a water-based lubricant and works with any product. We sell Sterile Lubricating Jelly because it is a better choice for urethral insertion items like the Sparkler, Big Boy Sparkler, Electro-Flex™ Corona Stimulator with Amplifier and/or Deep Throats.

Avoid lubricants with silicone ingredients for the Electro Stimulation products because they can cause damage to the Electro-Flex™ items and it acts as an insulator instead of reducing the skin's resistance to the stimulation.

Q: What is a configuration?

A: A configuration is a generic term we use to refer to the combination of electrodes you are using at a given moment.

Q: What do you mean by the term "three-electrode configuration"?

A: A "three-electrode configuration" is any grouping of two or three electrodes that involves using only three actual connection points in circuit. An example would be using one set of Low Profile Leads to connect the Prostate Stimulator in circuit with a single-pole 5/8" width Electro-Flex™ Penile Ring and plugging that lead into Channel A on your Original PES Power Box. Then with the second set of Low Profile Leads, only connecting one side of your Leads to the Testicle Tubular and leaving the remaining side of your Lead unconnected to anything. Then you plug this set of Leads into Channel B.

Channel A & B are not isolated from each other so as long as you have a complete circuit on one of the Channels, you do not need a complete circuit on both Channels. Whatever you feel on Channel A, you will feel on Channel B.

Q: What is an electrode?

A: An Electrode is the delivery source for the Erotic Electro Stimulation (EES). An Electrode requires one of the PES Power Boxes for proper function. You will need both a Power Box and an Electrode to experience EES. An example of an Electrode is the Anal Tubular.

Q: What does it mean when an electrode is described as single-pole or double-pole?

A: A single-pole electrode is an electrode that only has one conductive surface. A double-pole electrode has two conductive surfaces on or within the same electrode.

A single-pole must be used in conjunction with another single-pole or a double-pole electrode in order for it to work. A double-pole electrode can be used with other electrodes but it also will work by itself.

For example, our Acrylic Anal Plugs are double-pole electrodes, so all you would need to purchase would be one of the plugs and one of our PES Power Boxes.

But on the other hand, if you purchase the Prostate Stimulator and one of the Power Boxes, you would also need to purchase another single-pole electrode, such as the Tubular Base Ring, in order to complete the circuit.
Q: What type of warranty does your product have? What is your return policy?

A: PES products carry a 30-day warranty on parts and labor, with receipt. Power Boxes, only, may be returned within 30 days of purchase, subject to a 15% restocking fee, if dissatisfied. Due to their personal nature, all other products are non-returnable, this includes videos. If for some reason you are not satisfied or need a repair, please contact us by email at PES Customer Service.

Q: Is there a way to get a catalog of your products?

A: Currently we do not have a full catalog of the P.E.S. Products.

Q: Do you have a store? Where can I see your Erotic Electro Stimulation Products in person? Is there anyway to get a demonstration of your PES Products?

A: Not any longer. We had a physical storefront in Las Vegas, NV called The Studio Fetish Boutique. The Studio was a high-end fetish boutique located just off the world-famous Las Vegas Strip (Las Vegas Blvd) but we closed the storefront.

Q: What does it mean when my order status says 'Complete'?

A: There are four statuses your order will typically go through on our shopping cart.
  1. When you place your order it will say 'Pending' until we've actually received the order.
  2. We will change it to 'Processing' after your payment has been processed and we have printed the order off to invoice it and get it packaged for shipping. It will stay at this status until we have it packaged and ready to ship.
  3. Then we will change it to 'Shipped' when the order is packaged and a shipping label (and thus a tracking number for either UPS or USPS) has been created.
  4. Your order moves to 'Complete' when the package is picked up by either UPS or USPS and is finally on its way to you.
