Pictured Above: Sketch showing an example of the Sparkler used anally as part of a 3-Electrode Configuration with the Vaginal Plug.
The Sparkler, one of Paradise Electro Stimulations' original Electrodes, was named such because one of the earliest users of this Electrode saw 'sparks' when he used it.
The P.E.S. Sparkler and its big brother, the P.E.S. Big Boy Sparkler, can be used in a wide variety of configurations. The Sparklers are probably one of the most versatile Electrodes in our line. Constructed using a 6” length of our conductive silicone elastomer, Electro-Flex™ with a non-conductive base platform the Sparklers only vary in their diameters. The original Sparkler is 1/8" where the Big Boy Sparkler is 1/4".
The Sparklers can be used by men or women for delivering Erotic Electro Stimulation (EES) effectively to multiple erogenous zones.
Please Note:If you do not already have aP.E.S. Power Box(which comes with two pairs of Low Profile Leads), you will need at least one pair ofLow Profile Leads(one pair connects two single pole Electrodes or one double pole Electrode).
The Low Profile Leads are needed if you are going to use this product with a different power source than the P.E.S. Power Box.
For women, either Sparkler can be looped through its base platform and inserted anally for sphincter stimulation and then connected in circuit with one side of either the P.E.S. Vaginal Plug or the P.E.S. Vaginal Shield. Or perhaps added as part of a 3-Electrode Configuration with the P.E.S. Little Big Man!
For men, there are multiple ways to use these versatile Electrodes to enhance your Electro Sex experience!
One of the most popular uses for the Sparkler and Big Boy are as urethral inserts.
They can also be looped and tightened around the shaft of the penis, most commonly around the corona. Interestingly, one of the earliest names for the Sparkler was 'The Cockhead Stimulator'.
Pictured Above: Using two Sparklers, one inserted urethrally with one looped around the cockhead.
They can also be held externally along the penile shaft with a non-lubricated condom.
And of course, just like for the women, the Sparklers can be looped and inserted anally for sphincter stimulation.
Because of their versatility, the Sparklers can be used as the second Electrode in just about any configuration.
Used as a shaft electrode, either externally with a condom or looped like a shaft ring, the Sparklers work great in circuit with such Electrodes as the P.E.S. Testicle Tubular, P.E.S. Tubular Base Ring, or the P.E.S. Scrotum Electrode. Pick up multiple Sparklers, in both sizes, and explore their flexibility!
You might try creating what we call the 3-Electrode Configuration, using three Electrodes to place stimulation on the base of the shaft, the scrotum, and anally, for example. We would recommend trying a single pole 5/8" width Penile Ring in circuit with the Prostate Stimulator, with the Testicle Tubular as your third Electrode. You might find that a different configuration works better for you. Be patient and use your imagination. You will soon find the same pleasure that others find with EES.
(Note: Always keep the Sparkler or Big Boy Sparkler you intend to use urethrally exclusively for urethral or shaft stimulation. DO NOT use a Sparkler that has been inserted anally for urethral insertion. Also, DO NOT share urethral Electrodes. Sparklers and Big Boy Sparklers should be personalized and used by only one person if being used urethrally.)

Like all P.E.S. Electrodes, the Sparkler and Big Boy Sparkler require the P.E.S. Power Box in order to function, and are open to extensive experimentation with regards to how you wish to configure them. P.E.S. Low Profile Leads sold separately if you already have a power source.
Please note that the single pole Sparkler and Big Boy Sparkler require a second Electrode in order to function.

The Sparkler, one of our original products, was named such because one of the earliest users of this product saw “sparks” when he used it. It and the Big Boy Sparkler can be used together or interchangeably as they are probably two of the most versatile Electrodes in our line.
Both Sparklers are 6” of our conductive silicone elastomer, Electro-Flex™, with a non-conductive base platform but vary in diameter. The original Sparkler is 1/8" where the Big Boy Sparkler is 1/4".
These Electrodes are easily assembled and disassembled to allow for a wide array of configurations. The Sparklers can be used by men in anal, penile, or urethral configurations, while women can use them for anal or vaginal penetration.
The Sparkler & Big Boy Sparkler are single pole Electrodes and as such cannot be used alone. They require a second Electrode in circuit with them in order to function properly. Keep in mind that some configurations may only work with the PES Power Box.
Thoroughly lubricate the desired area of application and the Electrode. (Make sure to use sterile lubricant such as Medi-Pak Performance Sterile Jelly and a properly santized and cleaned Electrode).
Using the Sparkler unlooped, insert into the urethra.
Attach the other side of the Low Profile Leads to another Electrode to complete the circuit.
Note: DO NOT use a Sparkler that has been used for anal penetration for urethral or vaginal penetration.
Important Safety Notes:
Due to their design, the Sparklers should only be used with our Low Profile Lead technology. Use with other leads may cause damage to the Electrodes or they may not function properly.
As these are tubular Electrodes, the entire surface is conductive. It is recommended to wear latex gloves to help prevent accidental above-the-waist contact. This is only necessary when the power source is turned on.
DO NOT share Electrodes that are used for urethral penetration.
DO NOT use an Electrode for urethral or vaginal penetration if it has been used for anal penetration.
We DO NOT recommend the use of this product for urethral penetration on women.
Lubrication:
PES recommends the use of a lubricant with all PES Electrodes. Lubricant not only lubricates but also decreases the possibility of hot spots. We recommend PES ElectroLube (Item #PES075). You can also use Olive Oil. Water-based lubricants, such as Medi-Pak Perfomance Sterile Jelly, can be used in the event that you do not have either ElectroLube or Olive Oil. When using the Sparklers urethrally, it is strongly recommended to use a sterile lubricant such as Medi-Pak Performance Sterile Jelly. Make sure the lubricant you are using is a water-based lubricant with no silicone ingredients. Never use petroleum jelly or mineral oil as lubricant as these can damage the electrodes.
Caution: Do not use lubricants with silicone ingredients. Silicone is an insulator which greatly affects conductivity, and can chemically bond to the products made from Electro-Flex™ when applied over a long period of time. This will cause the apparatus to cease to function properly, and may void the warranty on the Electro-Flex™ line.
Cleaning:
These Electrodes can be washed with soap and water (a 10% bleach, 90% water solution with a mild liquid soap also works), but do not soak or scrub. Make sure to wash off all fluids and rinse the Electrode thoroughly. Allow it to dry completely. For disinfection; if you plan to use the electrode vaginally, urethrally or for shared usage; we recommend the use of Swiss Navy Toy & Body Cleanser. Swiss Navy is safe for use on the skin as well as the electrode. It is anti-viral, anti-fungal, & anti-bacterial. Allow to dry completely before use.
